We meet at 6:00 PM on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday nights at Keller Williams 1483 Beaver Creek Commons Drive

People join Kiwanis because we offer multiple ways to help children and our community. While some want in-person projects directly with children in the schools, others offer their time to raise funds to help with projects such as our landscaping at Apex Elementary, where we will be rebuilding a vegetable garden, maintaining a pollination garden, and completely overhauling abandoned and neglected areas. We are partnering with the Apex Elementary PTA to offer assistance at fundraisers that go directly to assisting teachers and students. We have approval from the principal to start a K-Kids club to sensitize students about being stewards of our environment. K-Kids will work with Green Waste Co. to have the K-Kids members filter out compostable food that would otherwise go into our landfills. Kiwanis offers established and growing relationships with our schools and youth to build a brighter future because Kiwanis is all about the kids.

Who We Are

Scott with Grace Payne and Annette Trammel, the advisors for the upcoming Middle Creek High School Key Club.

This picture of Robin and Marcia was taken when they spent a day to work with the Raleigh Kiwanis club on a diaper drive. Volunteering is a great way to make new friends and to pay it forward. We are always looking for new opportunities, so please contact us if you represent a group that could use volunteers.

Members include Scott Munsie, Principal at Middle Creek High School. Scott will be working with two of his staff to establish its inaugural Key Club, a Kiwanis Service Leadership Program dedicated to community service.
